Jan was born in Prague, Czech Republic. In 2008, after living in the Philippines, Turkey, Albania and Ghana and experiencing long summers, he left the city life to follow his passion for winter and the mountains. He now goes from winter to winter working in New Zealand and Verbier, spending almost the whole year on skis.

He loves sharing his knowledge of skiing by coaching clients and training instructors, helping them to improve  their technique and challenging their comfort zone to create a feeling of success, build confidence and enjoy every moment they spend out in the mountains!
